I worked out this morning, and while I was out there I ticked off my 1KM time trial and other fitness benchmarks. Session breakdown: 56mins | 474cals | didn’t note down my min/max HR and I don’t have a link for my new polar yet so I can’t pull the stats off.
Considering I’ve done little to no exercise for the past 12 months I’m surprised at how little my cardio fitness has changed. Credit to walking everywhere for that one! My Core strength is wiped, and my flexibility, I’ll have to really work on stretching to avoid tearing my calf muscles again. All in all I’m a ‘beginner’ rated program member, which works out well for my ‘Learn to run’ program intentions.
