Vanuatu, thoughts, and a new beginning

Bad Bec! I’ve been back in Australia for a week and haven’t updated my blog!

Don’t be too mad at me though because this isn’t a bad thing, it’s the beginning of a new Polkadot age!

During my time away I realised that for me to keep up with blogging I need to change my approach. I don’t feel like I can post a lot of my personal progress here while attempting to keep the blog as anonymous as I have been. It occurred to me that it isn’t going to be the end of the world if people I know realise I’m trying to lose weight and like writing about it online. If anything it’s going to make me more accountable, and that’d be great!

While thinking I also spent a great deal of time contemplating my life and have realised how weighed down I feel by my possessions as well as my excess kilograms. Living out of a suitcase I didn’t really miss many of my ‘things’. Certainly none of the possessions that currently live in boxes stacked across each wall in my apartment! Time to do something about it, Project 8352 will launch officially next month!

So I’m taking a new blogging approach. I’m keeping up with the weight loss but I’m also going to tackle my material excess and discuss more of my day-to-day life.

I hope you enjoy the new blog layout, and don’t mind the theme refocus.

And here’s my personal favourite of the holiday photos I took…

We called all of them Turtlefurt - a hang over from our Battlestar Galactica watching days.
